UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 23 — Russian forces launched a series of attacks on Izium in eastern Kharkiv oblast, injuring six people, including a child, the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.
In the evening on Sep. 22, Russians launched glide bombs at the city. One bomb hit a house and injured a 63-year-old woman, the prosecutors said. Later, Russians attacked an apartment building, injuring five people, including an 11-year-old boy.
At night on Sep. 23, Russian forces used artillery with cluster munitions to attack Izium, damaging houses, apartment buildings, outbuildings, and cars.
Apart from that, over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and eight settlements in the region with seven glide bombs and 128 drones of different types, Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast, reported.
In Kharkiv, Russians attacked the Kyivskyi and Saltivskyi districts with FPV drones, killing one and injuring four people.
In the Kharkiv district, a Russian attack injured a 35-year-old man near Slatyno settlement. Also, a Russian drone hit a car in Derhachi, the Kharkiv regional police said.
In the Chuhuiv district, Russians injured a 41-year-old man in the Staryi Saltiv settlement.
Over the Kharkiv oblast, Russian attacks damaged a gas station and an administrative building in the Kupiansk district, houses in the Bohodukhiv district, and an apartment building in the Lozova district.
