Energy workers restored the last street that had been de-energized due to Russian shelling in Izium in Kharkiv Oblast, Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) reported.

According to the regional energy supply company Kharkiv Oblenergo, the weather conditions and demining works became obstacles to the restoration of the electricity supply in this area.

“These are several streets near the Kremianets mountain. We had to wait for the permission of the sappers to start repairing the network here,” Oblenergo said.

Electricity was restored for most residents of the liberated Izium in October 2022.

Currently, restoration works are being completed in the villages of Glynske and Zabavne, which have been cut off since March.

Earlier, Kharkiv RMA reported that the electricity supply had been restored in 75% of the liberated territories in Kharkiv Oblast. They promised that by Feb. 1, all the residents of Kharkiv Oblast would be provided with energy.
