KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 14 — The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov visited military units holding defense on the Kupiansk axis.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported this on his Telegram channel.

“Along with the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, we listened to the commanders of brigades, tactical groups, and [other teams] conducting defensive operations in extremely difficult conditions directly on the ground. Together, we assessed our troops’ available resources and needs,” the statement said.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, they made several important decisions aimed at strengthening the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and preventing the actions of the Russian army.

The Russian military decreased attacks on the eastern frontline, including in the Kharkiv, Lyman-Kupiansk, and Bakhmut directions. 

This was reported by Ilya Yevlash, spokesman for the Operational and Strategic Group of Troops “Khortytsia” on Radio Svoboda.
