On the morning of Feb. 5, Russians launched two S-300 missiles at the Kharkiv city center.

This was reported by Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

“At 8:20 a.m. the enemy launched two S-300 missiles [long-range surface-to-air missile systems developed and operated by the former Soviet Union] on the center of Kharkiv. The building of one of the higher-educational institutions and the residential building were damaged. Five civilians were injured. As of now, a 54-year-old woman is in the hospital. The rest have minor injuries and are being treated on an outpatient basis,” reports Syniehubov on Feb. 6 on the consequences of the attack.

According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the residential building is damaged, but no threat of house collapse has been indicated. The authorities plan to work on heat, water, and energy supply systems. Moreover, it is necessary to help the University of Urban Economy, says Terekhov.
