Ihor Terekhov said about 450 windows were smashed by the attack and explosive blasts. The strike also damaged critical gas infrastructure, including a gas control cabinet. Experts are now working to restore the gas supply.

Terekhov added, that neither military nor emergency services or low enforcement officers were at the hit site when the attack happened. “Civilians live in high-rise apartment buildings [here.]”

“Such chaotic shelling shows that they [Russians] want to frighten us. All that the Russians are doing today with Kharkiv is mercilessly hitting residential buildings, their goal is to make people leave the city,” Terekhov said.
