UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 25 — Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled a Russian assault in the Kupiansk direction near the village of Synkivka, Kharkiv Oblast.  

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about this in a morning briefing.

The Russian army also hit Zolochiv, Kozacha Lopan, and Starytsia in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous directions and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

The Russian army fired mortars and artillery at more than 100 settlements in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated $128 million to purchase drones for the Defence Forces. Agreements worth about $769 million have already been signed with drone manufacturers, and contracts worth $359 million are being prepared.
