Russians are engaging former members of the Wagner PMC in the Kupyansk line. They are assaulting the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces together with former prisoners.

This was reported by the Commander of the Ground Forces of the AFU Oleksandr Syrskyi on November 27.

“In the Kupyansk direction, units consisting of former prisoners of the Storm, Storm Z, and Storm V militant groups are being used to storm Ukrainian positions. The presence of former so-called Wagner members has been recorded, and they are also involved in the assaults. Russian occupants have no success in this area,” the statement said.

According to Syrskyi, the fighting continues near Ivanivka and Synkivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

He also added that since the beginning of the month, the Russian occupiers have lost 8,690 personnel, destroyed or damaged 1,002 pieces of military equipment, including 109 tanks, 175 armored combat vehicles and more than two hundred artillery systems and mortars of various calibres.
