KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE — On January 14, Russian troops shelled settlements in the Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts of the Kharkiv Oblast. Prosecutors opened criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war.

The press service of the Kharkiv regional police reported this.

An enterprise in the village of Vilkhuvatka in the Kupiansk district was damaged as a result of the shelling by guided aerial bombs. The Russian military also shelled the town of Kupiansk with multiple “Grad” rocket launchers, damaging residential buildings.

The settlements also came under fire: Vovchansk and Budarky in the Chuhuiv district, and Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Berestove in the Kupiansk district.
