UKRAINE, Feb 22 — The Russian-shelled ambulance from Kharkiv was presented in downtown London. Ukrainian frontline medics brought it to the UK, UNITED24 reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops damaged, destroyed, or seized nearly 500 ambulances.

The UNITED24 initiative reports that thanks to donors and partners, they purchased 101 ambulances for medical professionals. Now, Ukraine has received 14 of them. The Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernihiv Oblasts received the ambulances.

The ambulances have everything necessary for evacuation, rescue, and resuscitation. The 14 vehicles include four front-wheel drive vehicles and ten all-wheel drive vehicles worth over $1 million (39 million hryvnias).

United24 is a Ukrainian government-run platform launched on May 5, 2022, to raise money for Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian War.
