KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, JAN 12 — Ukrainian troops repelled two Russian attacks in the Kupiansk direction near Synkivka.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

More than 130 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv Oblasts came under artillery fire.
