KUPIANSK, UKRAINE, Apr 10 — In the Kupiansk direction, the Ukrainian military repelled three Russian army attacks near Kyslivka, Ivanivka in the Kharkiv Oblast, and Andriivka in the Luhansk Oblast, according to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, over the past day, the Russian army hit Kharkiv, Potykhonove, Chaikivka, Hlyboke, Ivanivka, and Borova in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous directions and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

The Russian army fired mortars and artillery at more than 110 settlements in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

As Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in his evening address on April 7, the government is looking for opportunities to give Kharkiv more air defense. According to him, the transfer of air defense systems to Ukraine by other countries is a political issue.
