UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 30 — Drone operators of the 57th Motorized Brigade destroyed a Russian heavy rocket launcher system called Solntsepyok near Vovchansk, north of the Kharkiv oblast, reported the press service of the brigade.

The ARES artillery reconnaissance battery hit Solntsepyok immediately after detection, the 57th brigade said. The second drone destroyed the target.

The Solntsepyok is designed to neutralize lightly armored and motorized vehicles, set fire to the buildings and structures through high-volume explosions, and kill troops located on the open terrain and within fortifications, said the brigade.

In over four years of Russia’s full-scale war, the brigade reported destroying only 28 units of this type of weaponry.
