UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 27 — Ukrainian border guards killed 18 soldiers of a Russian assault group that was trying to cross the Russia-Ukraine border near Artilne village in the Kharkiv region, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported.

According to the report, Ukrainian soldiers detected and killed Russian troops before they could reach the village.

On Jul. 23, the Ukrainian Border Service said that Russian troops tried to break through a new sector near Artilne.

Artilne is located between Dehtiarne and Milove border settlements, in an area where the Russians have already attempted to break through the state border. DeepState, a Ukrainian OSINT war monitoring group, marked both settlements as occupied by Russian forces.
