UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul. 27 — On Jul. 26, Russian forces attacked the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv with Banderol missile. The attack killed one and injured 16 people, including two children, Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv’s mayor, said.

The Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office noted that a Russian attack killed a 40-year-old woman and injured her 10-year-old son. Also, there was a 17-year-old girl among the injured people.

Banderol is a small Russian-made missile with a flight range of up to 500 kilometers (about 311 miles).

This attack destroyed a house and damaged at least 15 other houses nearby.

Over the past day, Russian forces also attacked Kharkiv and 15 settlements of the region with two missiles, seven glide bombs, seven FAB-500 glide bombs, and 39 drones of different types, Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said.

Russians attacked the Shevchenkyvskyi, Industrialnyi, and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv over the past day, said the Kharkiv regional police.

In the Kharkiv district, Russians injured a 43-year-old man who was riding a bicycle in Tsypivka village. They also damaged houses and a garbage truck in other settlements of the district.

Russians also damaged apartment buildings, power networks, garages, an administrative building, houses, a gas station, and the territory of a civilian business in the Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv, Izium, and Lozova districts.
