KHARKIV OBLAST, JAN 19 — On the morning of January 18, Russian troops shelled Kupiansk with a “Pion” self-propelled artillery system. A 57-year-old woman was killed, and two men aged 56 and 62 were wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

The victims were hospitalized with moderate injuries. The shelling also damaged a high-rise building.

On January 18, as a result of artillery and mortar shelling by Russian troops, 20 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were damaged, in particular: Stohnii, Udy of the Bohodukhiv district; Starytsia, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Nesterne of the Chuhuiv district; Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove of the Kupiansk district.
