KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, Apr 25 — The Russian army shelled the village of Novoosynove in Kurylivka community of the Kupiansk district, injuring two elderly women. They are in the hospital, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office press service.

There is information that the Russian military struck the village from the Uragan multiple rocket launcher.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have attacked the Kharkiv region that borders the Russian Belgorod Oblast multiple times per day. They’ve intensified the shelling since March 2024, targeting both civilian and critical infrastructure in the region, exploiting the lack of air defense systems and missiles in Ukraine.

Over the past day, the Russians dropped KAB bombs on the village of Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk district, damaging eight private houses and a trailer, and a private house in the village of Kruhliakivka caught fire due to the shelling.

Russian troops shelled Slobozhanske twice with multiple rocket launchers, damaging three private houses.

In total, about 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast came under Russian artillery and mortar fire over the past day.
