UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Dec 18 – On the morning of December 18, the Russian army hit a closed shopping center in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district with a Molniya-1 unmanned aerial vehicle. There were no casualties, reported the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office spokesman, Dmytro Chubenko.

Russian troops have previously used “Molniya” [“Lightning” from Russian, — ed.] UAVs in Donetsk. It’s , made of Chinese details, aluminum tubes, plywood, and polystyrene. However, iIn Kharkiv, the Russians used it for the first time on November 12.

The Russian army has been often attacking Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, since the start of the full-scale invasion — the city is close to the border and the frontline. Russians use various weapons like glide bombs, strike drones, and missiles to target civilian and critical infrastructure there.
