UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 30 — Around 2:30 a.m., the Russian army launched five S-300 missile attacks on the infrastructure and residential area of the Mala Danylivka community in the Kharkiv region, reported the village head Oleksandr Hololobov.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast, especially border settlements, came under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions on May 10.

The village head said that no people were injured. However, the missile attack killed rabbits.

Within the same missile attack, the Russian military attacked Kharkiv’s critical infrastructure, said the city’s mayor, Ihor Terekhov.

A fire broke out at the hit site. The missiles damaged a gas pipeline and smashed windows in houses nearby, injuring seven people, Terekhov said.

In total, Russia has attacked Kharkiv with missiles, glider bombs, or drone strikes 1,700 times since January 2024, Oleh Syniehubov told  Ukrainska Pravda, in an interview published on May 25. 230 of them were missile attacks.
