UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul. 22 — In the afternoon, a Russian FPV drone hit a gas station in the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, injuring five workers, the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

According to the prosecutors, the Russian attack destroyed a gas pump and injured three women and two men. Medics diagnosed all of them with an acute stress reaction.

Researchers at the Center for Information Resilience (CIR) reported that Russia attacked at least 40 gas stations in the Kharkiv oblast between March 2024 and June 2026, media Texty.org.ua wrote.

Journalists note that the CIR data reflects only confirmed cases, but the actual extent of damage to gas stations may be “significantly greater.”

Andrii Pyvovarskyi, CEO of the WOG gas station group, noted that Russian attacks had destroyed more than 150 of their gas stations across Ukraine in just two months.

Local authorities of the Kharkiv oblast plan to strengthen defences for gas stations in response to the security situation in the region.
