UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 15 — In the morning, Russian forces attacked a car of workers of the Kharkivoblenergo, a municipal energy company, near Yuriivka village in the Kupiansk district, said Andrii Kanashevych, head of the Kupiansk District Military Administration.
The Kupiansk district is an eastern part of the Kharkiv oblast. Russian forces are attacking settlements in the district every day, with some of them now completely uninhabitable. Recently, local authorities expanded the mandatory evacuation zone there.
Later, Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said that the attack injured two energy workers, one 33 and the other 52 years old.
Also, at night, Russian forces attacked the Shevchenkove settlement in the district with a Molniya drone, damaging a house and a car.
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out attacks on Kharkiv and 21 settlements of the region, killing 2 people and injuring 16 more.
This spring, Russians attacked an energy workers team that came under Russian control in the Kharkiv oblast with drones, injuring two people.
