UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul. 15 — Ukrainian drone operators disrupt the attempt of Russian soldiers to cross the Vovcha River in Kharkiv oblast, said the State Border Service of Ukraine, publishing a video of the operation.

Vovcha is a river that flows through the northern part of Kharkiv oblast, including Vovchansk, a city which was one of the main targets of a Russian offensive in May 2024. Russian attacks back then destroyed the city.

The video shows small Russian assault groups wading across the Vovcha River before Ukrainian troops from the Forpost Brigade of the State Border Guard Service dropped munitions on them with drones, killing the Russian soldiers, according to the service.

“Some of the bodies were left in the water, while others washed up on the shore,” the State Border Guard Service said.
