UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul. 6 — Over the past week, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv 24 times, killing three people, including a child, and injuring 74 people, said Ihor Terekhov, Kharkiv mayor.
To attack Kharkiv, Russians used glide bombs, FPV drones, including fiber-optic drones, Italmas drones, Molniya drones, and Shahed drones.
Terekhov said that Russians attacked the Kholodnohirskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Osnovianskyi, Novobavarskyi, Slobidskyi, Saltivskyi, and Industrialnyi districts.
The attacks damaged houses, residential areas, windows, facades, roofs, roads, cars, storage buildings, utility buildings, and infrastructure, said the mayor.
Therekhov also talked about Russian attacks on gas stations in Kharkiv.
“It is clear that the Russians have (purposefully) targeted these locations. I strongly warn all Kharkiv locals and visitors not to linger there unless necessary,” said Terekhov.
But the mayor said that there is no shortage of gasoline or diesel in the city.
Over the past weeks, Russian drones attacked six gas stations in Kharkiv, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region, during the meeting with journalists.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and eight settlements in the region with artillery, four glide bombs, and 49 drones of different types.
