UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul. 7 — In the morning, a Russian fiber-optic FPV drone hit a gas station in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, injuring a 53-year-old woman, reported the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The first Russian attack on Kharkiv with a fiber-optic FPV drone was in February 2026. Since July, Russians have started to use FPV drones like this to attack Kharkiv more often, targeting gas stations and civilian infrastructure.

Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and eight settlements in the region with one glide bomb and 36 drones of different types, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast.

In Kharkiv, Russians also attacked the Industrialnyi and Kholodnohorskyi districts, injuring a 37-year-old woman and injuring railway infrastructure, reported the Kharkiv regional police.

In the Kharkiv district, Russians damaged another gas station in the Pisochyn settlement. They also damaged a house in the Slatyno settlement.

In the Kupiansk district, an FPV drone attacked Mykilske village, injuring a 48-year-old man.

In the Bohodukhiv district, Russian attacks injured a 19-year-old man and damaged houses and outbuildings.
