UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 2 — At about 09:30 a.m., Russians attacked a kindergarten in Zolochiv from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the head of the Zolochiv Military Administration, Viktor Kovalenko, told Gwara Media.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

The Russian UAV attack damaged the windows, the fence, and the facade of the kindergarten. No one was in the building at the time of the attack, so there were no casualties.

During the two years of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Russians destroyed or severely damaged 11 out of 13 educational institutions in the Zolochiv community. Only two, located in the deep rear, were not affected.

The Russians destroyed three schools in the villages of Makarove, Udy, and Dovzhyk. They also severely damaged schools in Oleksandrivka and Ivashky.

In addition, the Russian army destroyed pre-schools in Ivashky, Makarove, and Udy.
