One of the oldest higher educational institutions in Ukraine is collecting funds to restore the heating system, generators, and musical instruments.

This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

The Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I. P. Kotlyarevsky occupies two buildings numbered 11 and 13 on Constitution Square. In March 2022, they were damaged as a result of the bombing of the Kharkiv city center by Russian troops.

Due to shelling by the Russian army on March 3, 2022, the buildings were partially destroyed: roof coverings, windows, and facade decoration were damaged.

Currently, the educational institution requires urgent help, the generators and additional equipment for bomb shelters are needed. Moreover, the university plans to repair the destroyed heating system.

Anyone can join the initiative and help to restore the university by donating.
