KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb 21 — The soldiers of the Stalevyi Cordon [Steel Border – ed.] border guard detachment destroyed two Russian Shahed drones in the Kharkiv region on the night of February 21, reported on the brigade’s Telegram channel.

“Thus, last night, mobile firing groups of the 15th Mobile Border Guard Detachment detected and destroyed two enemy Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) moving towards Kharkiv,” the statement said.

In total, over the past day, the Russian army shelled at least 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region with artillery and mortars, including Synkivka, Dvorichna, and Ivanivka. They also hit Hrachivka, Chuhunivka, Fedorivka, Pishchane, and Katerynivka with airstrikes.

There are several hundred mobile air defense groups in the Kharkiv region that shoot down the Shahed drones, and reinforcement is ongoing, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, during a conversation with journalists.
