On 25 April, the Russian army shelled at least 17 border and frontline settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts, according to the head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

  • In the Slobozhanskyy direction, the occupants fired mortars and artillery: Udy, Vetarynarne, Zelene, Neskuchne, Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche and Ambarne.
  • In the Kupyansk direction, the following areas came under fire: Topoly, Kamyanka, Krasne Pershne, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershne, Kupyansk and Kyslivka.

On the morning of 25 April, Russian troops hit the centre of Kupiansk. The Russians hit the building of the local history museum twice. There are no military facilities near the building where the missile hit. Two S-300 missiles were launched at 9:00 a.m.: one hit the ground and the other hit the museum building.

Updated reports indicate that two women aged 54 and 57 were killed, and 10 people were injured. Four were hospitalized, while 6 others had minor injuries and received medical treatment on the spot.

Over the past 24 hours, deminers of the State Emergency Service have defused 138 explosive devices.
