UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun 9 — On June 5, the National Bank of Ukraine posted a Macroeconomic and Monetary Review, on which Kharkiv Oblast took second place according to internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The review said that there are 3,8 million IDPs recorded in Ukraine for now. Since the beginning of 2025, this number has increased by 188,000 people. At the same time, nearly 4 million Ukrainian people returned to their homes after evacuation.

The largest number of IDPs live in Dnipropetrovsk (16%) and Kharkiv (12%) regions.

Over half (52%) of all IDPs moved from fully or partially occupied regions.

Also, as of April 17, 2025, the number of refugees abroad exceeded 6,9 million. Since the beginning of 2025, nearly 100,000 Ukrainians have moved to other countries.
