KHARKIV, UKRAINE, Dec 31 — Russia launched a massive drone and missile attack across Kharkiv on Saturday and Sunday, leaving 26 wounded.
Currently, 13 people are being treated in hospital – 8 women and 5 men – who suffered from the shelling, Kharkiv RMA head Oleh Syniehubov reported.
A 16-year-old boy with cut wounds to his head and abrasions to his back remains in moderate condition. Two of the victims are under special medical supervision – a 37-year-old man with shrapnel injuries to his head and torso, and a 64-year-old woman with chest and head injuries, as well as injuries to her upper and lower extremities. Their condition is considered stable.
Other casualties have minor injuries. In particular, they sustained shrapnel wounds and bruises. A 14-year-old teenager who was taken to hospital after the shelling was examined by doctors and left for outpatient treatment.

On the night of 31 December, at around 12:54 a.m., the Air Force reported that a UAV was moving towards Kharkiv and called for people to take cover. Four hits by Russian drones were recorded, said Dmytro Chubenko, a spokesman for the regional prosecutor’s office.
Details of the rocket attack on Kharkiv
On 30 December, at around 6:59 p.m., the first explosion occurred in Kharkiv. According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, there were more than 6 explosions. Preliminarily, it was hit by S-300 missiles, said Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the police in Kharkiv region. Later, it was reported that Russia attacked with Iskander-M missiles.
