KHARKIV, UKRAINE, Dec 31 — Russian army attacked the city with at least 5 Russian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones overnight.

“Kharkiv is under attack by Shahed drone. There have already been several explosions in the city centre. All the emergency services are working. Information about the victims is being clarified,” said Kharkiv city mayor Ihor Terekhov.

Before the explosions in Kharkiv, people heard a sound in the sky similar to a moped/motorcycle or a chainsaw. This is how a kamikaze drone engine works. Drones can be seen because they fly at a low altitude.
