The European Commission and the DIGITALEUROPE trade association are going to collect gadgets for Ukraine from European businesses, patrons, and citizens, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported.

Currently, Ukraine needs more than 255 thousand different gadgets. Every day the requests are growing, and the challenges are becoming even more complex.

The Laptops for Ukraine project will help connect Europeans and Ukrainians to provide gadgets to schools, hospitals and state administrations in the war-affected regions of the country.

The European Commission and the trade association DIGITALEUROPE will collect the equipment, while the Ministry of Digital Transformation will coordinate the transfer in accordance with the requests of other state institutions. A convenient website in English for donating equipment within the Laptops for Ukraine project is also available.

  • UNICEF provided laptops for 66 educational institutions in Kharkiv Oblast and this is only within the framework of the first tranche.
