UKRAINE, May 3 — In April, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with over 300 missiles of various types, almost 300 Shahed drones, and more than 3,200 guided aerial bombs, said the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Our cities and communities from the Sumy region to Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson suffer from this [Russian] deliberate and vile terror every day and every night,” the President said.

He added that countries that have supported air defense in Ukraine and put pressure on the Russian military-industrial complex with sanctions have saved thousands of Ukrainian lives.

“Unfortunately, these strikes have killed a lot of people. And only force can stop this terror. The power of our people, the power of the unity of the world, the power of pressure on Russia, the power of air defense systems provided to Ukraine, the power of our soldiers who hold the frontline,” Zelenskyy said.

As the Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov said during the national telethon, since the beginning of this year, Russia has conducted more than 2,500 attacks on civilian targets and critical infrastructure in the Kharkiv Oblast, including over 150 missile attacks.

Russians attack Kharkiv Oblast daily: it borders Russia, and it’s close to the frontline. Russian troops strike the towns and villages of the region with S-300 missiles, Iranian-made Shahed drones, or glide bombs.
