UKRAINE, Dec 19 — Ukraine has received a tranche of €4.1 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

The total assistance under this initiative in 2024 is €16.1 billion. A total of €50 billion is planned to be provided to the country from 2024 to 2027 within the Ukraine Facility initiative.

On November 27, Ukraine also received $4.8 billion from the World Bank as part of the PEACE project.

Shmyhal said that this is “the largest investment project in the history of the bank, launched to support Ukraine’s reforms, social and educational spheres, healthcare, [help its] agricultural producers and recovery projects.”
