“We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as it takes. We already have a deeper understanding of your operational needs. We have discussed some of Sweden’s supplies to Ukraine, which include CV-90s. We are working on supplying Archer systems and tanks,” said Swedish Defence Minister Paul Johnson.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said Ukraine would receive 51 CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles earlier this year. In February, the Swedish parliament approved the transfer of military aid to our country worth more than $400 million.
Previously, it was reported that Norway is considering possibly providing Ukraine with CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles.
“The government is constantly considering whether Norway should send more weapons to Ukraine. We do not comment on these assessments or any current or future contributions. We have a good dialogue with Ukraine and our allies on needs. Furthermore, we will support Ukraine as long as it is needed,” said Norwegian Defence Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.
