UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Apr 02 — A Recruitment Center was opened in the Kharkiv Administrative Service Center. This is a place where people who want to join Ukraine’s defense and security forces are helped according to their wishes and skills.
The Defense Ministry’s recruitment advisor, Oleksii Bezhevets, announced this at the opening of the Center, Gwara Media reported.
“Today, a large number of positions are available in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, and the Territorial Defense Forces. These are unmanned aerial vehicle operators, drivers, equipment repair specialists, medics, etc. All of them are open to both men and women. The minimum salary for the position is 20 thousand hryvnias [$508],” explains Oleksii Bezhevets.
According to him, by the end of the first half of the year, there will be several dozen such centers across Ukraine, and by the end of the year, recruitment centers are planned to open in all regions of the country.
The recruitment conditions include the possibility to sign a contract for serving in a particular military unit and, with the consent of the management, to be appointed to the chosen position in the selected unit. Currently, fixed-term contracts and contracts until demobilization are announced can be signed.
Recruitment centers are independent of military enlistment offices. Recruiters are not military personnel and cannot serve visitors with conscription notices.
