UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr 02 — The Russian shelling injured two people in the Kharkiv Oblast: a 27-year-old woman in Vovchansk and a 57-year-old man in Kupiansk, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, in his morning report.

He noted that the Russian military fired artillery and mortars at about 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast: Synkivka, Ivanivka, Stepova Novoselivka. 

In particular, at around 10:05 p.m., the Russians shelled Kupiansk with KABs [a 500-kilogram general-purpose aerial bomb with a high-explosive warhead developed in the Soviet Union — ed.], damaging a private house.

At 4:40 p.m., the Russian military shelled the territory of Lyptsi, Kharkiv district. There was no information on casualties or damage.

At 3 p.m., the Russian army attacked Kurylivka village in the Kupiansk district, causing private houses to catch fire. There were no casualties.

Around 12:02-2:20 p.m., a series of Russian shelling in Vovchansk damaged private houses, a fence, and outbuildings. The attack injured a 27-year-old woman.

At 10:15 a.m., a building was damaged in Liubotyn, Kharkiv district, due to the Russian missile attack from an S-300 missile system. There were no casualties.

Also, on April 1 at 10:00 a.m., the Russian army attacked Kupiansk with KABs, damaging the stadium stand, locker room, private houses, and an apartment building. A 57-year-old woman was injured.

In total, the Russian Federation fired eight missiles and 93 airstrikes over the day and conducted 126 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.
