Russian Army Hit Seven Settlements in Kharkiv Oblast With Airstrikes

UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr 02 — Over the past day, the Russian troops hit Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Okhrymivka, Kupiansk, Sadova, Tabaivka, and Cherneshchyna in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about this in a morning briefing.

The Russian army fired mortars and artillery at more than 120 settlements in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, in the border areas, the Russian military conducts intense sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to more dangerous directions and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod Oblast.

In total, the Russian Federation fired eight missiles and 93 airstrikes over the day and conducted 126 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.

At night, the Russian military attacked Ukraine using ten unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed nine UAVs.

Since the beginning of the year, only 3% of Russian missiles fired at Ukraine have hit military targets. The other 97% of rockets hit civilian infrastructure
