UKRAINE, Jul. 31 — Russian forces used a North Korean ballistic missile for the first time in a long time to attack the Radushne settlement in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, killing at least six people, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian President.

Russia has launched North Korean missiles at Ukrainian targets before. It was their first deployment since August, 2025, and points to a new stock ​of weapons, reported Reuters, citing a military source.

Zelenskyy said that preliminary findings confirm that the missile that attacked  Radushne was manufactured in North Korea. They also planned to take additional examinations.

That day, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian troops used a North Korean KN-23 ballistic missile during the attack and launched it from the Bryansk oblast.

The Russian attack on Radushne destroyed a house and killed a whole family, including a 47-year-old dad, Artem, a 41-year-old mother, Olena, a 17-year-old Mark, a 16-year-old Dominika, a 14-year-old Viorika, a 13-year-old Zakharii, a 11-year-old Azarii Ilai, a nine-year-old Federika, a seven-year-old Emilia, and a one-and-a-half-year-old grandson, Artem, said local media Pershyi Miskyi.
