UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Sep. 30 — At 1:45 p.m., Russian drone attacked a shopping mall in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, the city’s mayor, reported.

Later, Terekhov said that the attack injured a civilian.

This year, Russia started targeting Ukrainian shopping malls and other civilian infrastructure more actively. Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, said that such attacks help Russian forces accomplish their combat tasks.

On Sep. 17, Russian forces attacked the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv with a drone, hitting Epicenter shopping mall.
