Russian Army Intensifies Offensive Actions in the Kupyansk Direction — Governor

The Russian army is unsuccessfully trying to advance in the Kupyansk direction. Russian troops have recently become more active.

• The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, told this on the United News marathon.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine repel all assaults, inflicting significant losses on the enemy, and do not give up a single meter of our land,” the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration assured.

For instance, on July 31, in the Kupyansk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces defeated Russian attacks east of Berestove in Kharkiv region.

According to Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of the Ukrainian Army, not a single position was lost in the Kupyansk-Lyman area.

“The enemy is constantly attacking at the Kupyansk and Lyman directions using its most professional units. Every day we repel numerous attacks in these areas. We have not lost a single position,” said the colonel-general.

Children were evacuated from Vovchansk community in Kharkiv Oblast.
