UKRAINE, KUPIANSK, Feb 7 — Around 10:40 a.m., Russia hit Kupiansk from the “Krasnopol” weapon system, said Andrii Besedin, the head of the Kupiansk military administration, to Gwara Media’s journalists.

He noted that the Russian attack injured a 48-year-old woman’s shin (she wasn’t hospitalized) and a police officer who was moderately injured. The artillery strike also damaged the ambulance car that was responding to an emergency call.

The Russian army reached the Oskil River near Dvorichna, north of Kupiansk, and Krukliakivka, south of the city, during autumn. General Staff reports five combat clashes on the Kupiansk axis, including near Dvorichna, just over the past day.
