Russian army keeps attacking civilian settlements and towns in the Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes, mortar shells, and artillery.
During the last twenty-four hours, Russian troops hit three settlements in Kharkiv Oblast with airstrikes and were shooting at at least nine towns and villages with mortar shells and artillery, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
According to a morning brief released on August 24, the Russian army attacked the districts of Dovzhyk and Chuhunivka with airstrikes and hit Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, and Krasnyi Yar with mortar shells in the Slobozhanskyi direction of Kharkiv Oblast.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces’ offensive in the district of Novoiehorivka of Luhansk Oblast didn’t succeed. They hit the Shyikivka district with airstrikes and hit Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, and Pishchane in Kharkiv Oblast with mortar shells and artillery.
