UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun. 26 — Over the past day, Russia attacked Kharkiv and 16 settlements of the region, killing two people, injuring nine more, Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov and Kharkiv region prosecutor’s office reported.

In total, Russian troops launched eight glide bombs, and 34 drones of different types during the attacks on the Kharkiv region, Syniehubov added. 

Around 6 a.m., on Jun. 25, a Russian First-Person View (FPV) drone hit an apartment building in the village of Slatyne, located in the Kharkiv district. The drone flew into the balcony of one of the apartments and exploded. No civilians were injured or killed.

At 12:05 p.m., a Russian drone struck near the village of Ulianivka in the Bohodukhiv district, injuring a 41-year-old agricultural consultant, who was working in a field at the time.

Approximately at 2 p.m., a Russian attack on the village of Kanivtseve in the Kupiansk district injured a 64-year-old woman.

Around 4 p.m. Russian forces hit the village of Prykolotne in the same district using glide bombs, injuring two women aged 71 and 60, and damaging two houses and the power grid.

At 4:15 p.m., a Russian drone struck the territory of a private enterprise in Bohodukhiv, the administrative center of the Bohodukhiv district, killing a 62-year-old man, injuring two other men aged 44 and 64, and damaging a house.

The same day, the village of Novoselivka in the Kupiansk district was also under Russian attack that killed a 58-year-old man, injured two women aged 70 and 64 and a 60-year-old man, and damaged six houses.

Russian forces also hit Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv city. According to preliminary information, no civilians were injured or killed.

Overall, Russian strikes damaged civilian property in the Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, and Chuhuiv districts of the region.
