In Kharkiv, two Russian ballistic missiles hit the residential area, damaging more than 50 apartment buildings and more than 20 cars, said Spartak Borysenko, one of the senior experts from the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Another missile hit the civilian enterprise. The roof and building caught fire with a total area of over 450 square meters, said the State Emergency Service (SES) of the Kharkiv region.

Now, the fire is put out, and the emergency and rescue operations are continuing on the site of the attack in the residential neighborhood, reported the SES.

“I was lying on the couch, and my husband was next to me. I just unlocked my phone because I started getting notifications. The chats were talking about the missile in the air. I saw a flare of light, and we were covered (by glass and debris — ed.). It was very loud, and I heard several explosions. My daughter had left her room five minutes before. If she hadn’t left, the (blasted-out — ed.) window and glass would fall on her,” said Olena, a resident of one of the damaged high-rise residential apartment buildings.
