UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 28 — The Russian army shelled the village of Monachynivka in the Kupiansk district, killing a 57-year-old resident. The woman died of her injuries in an ambulance, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

The woman’s husband was also injured. He is being provided with the necessary medical care. Details and circumstances are being established.

The Russian army also attacked the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with drones at night. The attack damaged a restaurant, a shop, and office premises.

Windows were smashed in the houses located near the hit site. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, there were no casualties.

Law enforcement officers also seized the wreckages of three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). The Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.

In addition, at about 3:53 p.m. on March 27, the Russian military attacked Kharkiv, hitting the central residential area. The Russian attack killed a 59-year-old man.

The attack destroyed two high-rise buildings and damaged at least 14 buildings, including one preschool and one school. 

The Russian attack also injured at least 19 people. Among them are four children aged three months, 1.8 years, ten years, and 13 years. Everyone is being provided with medical aid. All specialized services were working at the hit site.
