KHARKIV OBLAST UKRAINE, Mar 1 — The Kharkiv Oblast received a batch of humanitarian aid from Germany for the needs of the suffered and the deoccupied territories of the Oblast, reported the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

The press service noted that the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) provided assistance totaling €1,7 million. The aid included special vehicles for reconstruction work, powerful generators, materials for emergency infrastructure repairs, and other necessary equipment.

Since 2022, Germany has already provided humanitarian aid worth €3,9 million to the Kharkiv Oblast. Germany will deliver another batch worth half a million euros soon, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Germany will contribute to restoring one of the buildings of Karazin Kharkiv National University. The building was damaged due to the Russian attacks in the center of Kharkiv in December.
