The 464th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continues to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

  • Last night, the enemy used 15 cruise missiles (type to be determined) and 18 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs to attack Ukraine’s military – our defenders destroyed all of these air targets. The information is being clarified.
  • The adversary launched 12 missile attacks on Kyiv yesterday, using 10 Iskander ballistic and cruise missiles (destroyed by our defenders) and 2 S-300 anti-aircraft-guided missiles. In addition, it carried out 46 air strikes and fired 107 multiple-launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
  • The Russians continue focusing their main efforts on attempts to occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions fully. Over the past day, defense forces repelled 25 attacks.

Slobozhanshchyna axis

The adversary continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. Within the last day, it fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Seredyna-Buda, Atynske, Pavlivka, Pysarivka, Uhroydy, Krasnopillia, Slavgorod in Sumy region, as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Ogirtseve, Gatyshche, Bugrivatka, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Varvarovka, Budarky, Chuhunivka in Kharkiv region.

Kupiansk axis

The Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensives west to Masiutivka. The adversary carried out air strikes in the areas of Vilshana, Kotlyarivka, Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region. Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Lyman Pervyi, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Kharkiv RMA

Within the last day, the Russian army launched a missile attack on Kharkiv and continued shelling the border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts of the region.

“According to the updated information, as a result of a missile strike on the Industrial district of Kharkiv, the buildings of a civilian enterprise were damaged, a 63-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man were wounded. They did not need hospitalisation, they received medical assistance on the spot,” said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

During the day, Russian occupants massively shelled Vovchansk in Chuhuiv district. The town’s Veselka shop, fire station and residential buildings were damaged and fires broke out. As a result of the shelling, 3 people were injured.

A tractor exploded on an anti-tank mine at Hrakove, Chuhuiv district village. A 61-year-old tractor driver was injured and hospitalized.

State Emergency Service in Kharkiv Oblast, Mine clearance

On 1 June, pyrotechnic crews of the State Emergency Service inspected about 8.7 hectares of territory in Kharkiv, Izium, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts, as well as about 13.3 km of power lines. The engineers found and defused 152 pieces of enemy mines, explosives and ammunition.
