UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar 15 — During the past day, 14 children and their families were evacuated from the dangerous areas of the Kharkiv Oblast, reported the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

In total, 103 children have been evacuated from two communities: 33 from Vilkhuvatka and 70 from Velykyi Burluk.

Syniehubov noted that 161 children need to be evacuated from these communities. 

“We have to evacuate 161 children from these settlements. On the one hand, this is a small number of children, but there are still those who are difficult to convince to leave. Unfortunately, we have to explain to people that the lives of their children, their relatives, and themselves should come first,” the official said.

Oleh Syniehubov said that, on March 7, the Kharkiv Regional Defence Council decided to forcefully evacuate children with their parents or guardians in 18 settlements of the Velykyi Burluk and Vilkhuvatka territorial communities.
