UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Dec 13 – Brno in the Czech Republic has provided Kharkiv with six trams. Trams of such a model are already going around the city, reported the press service of the Kharkiv City Council.

The Kharkiv City Council said it would take some time for tram cars to be adapted to the Kharkiv gauge.

Volodymyr Matias, deputy director of the Department of Construction and Roads, said that the cars will also operate near the Kharkiv Tractor Plant, which remained inactive during the war. The plant’s restoration is scheduled for 2025.

In addition, Volodymyr Matias said that negotiations are underway with representatives of the city of Brno to provide Kharkiv with trolleybuses.
