UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Nov. 25 — Geolocated footage from Nov. 23 showed that Ukrainian forces advanced near Stepova Novoselivka village southeast of Kupiansk, reported the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Earlier, DeepState, an OSINT war tracking project, reported that Russian troops occupied Stepova Novoselivka.

Russia intensified its offensive on Kupiansk this summer. Russia aims to surround and occupy Kupiansk and seize Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, a city located south of Kupiansk, which serves as an important logistics and railway hub for the region.

On Nov. 25, a senior lieutenant of the Defence Forces with a call sign Alex said that Russian forces reduced their offensive on the Kupiansk axis compared to the end of the summer.

At the same time, the ISW reported on Russian advances north of the Kharkiv oblast.

The General Staff said about five Russian attacks near Vovchansk and the nearest settlements over the past day.

The ISW also reported on Russian advances near Velykyi Burluk.

Since the end of October, DeepState has recorded Russian advances east of Velykyi Burluk, near the village Odradne.
